My Beef Stir-Fry with Leeks & Pepper Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb. Sirloin beef sliced into thin strips
  • 4- ounces leeks cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 1 ginger fresh, peeled, grated
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 shallot thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons peanut oil
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon lemon pepper
  • 1 red bell pepper sliced into strips
  • 3 tablespoons oyster sauce

Equipment

  • 1 large wok
  • 1 serving dish

Method
 

  1. Heat your peanut oil in a large wok over medium heat. Cook the ginger, shallot and garlic for about 2-minutes or stir more often until aromatic.
  2. Place your beef strips into the wok and cook for approximately 5-minutes or until browned, stirring frequently.
  3. Add your leeks to the wok, along with the oyster sauce. Cook for about 5- minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Stir in your sesame oil, then season with salt and pepper, to taste.
  5. Transfer to a serving dish.
  6. Serve and Enjoy!
